Tool and Die Technician in Gallatin (TN) - Job offer

PROMAN Staffing is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician for a leading manufacturing facility. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, and maintaining dies, tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to support safe and efficient operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures. 

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. 

• Operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, and grinders. 

• Perform machining, fitting, assembly, and tooling modifications. 

• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality. 

• Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of tool & die, maintenance, or industrial manufacturing experience. 

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. 

• Experience with manual machining equipment and precision measurement tools. 

• Welding and fabrication experience preferred. 

• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus. 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
