PM Machine Operator in Joplin (MO)

Position Overview (Temp-to-Hire after 520 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to meet production goals
• Maintain continuous production flow by supplying materials and addressing minor equipment issues
• Perform equipment changeovers and follow standard operating procedures
• Conduct quality checks and accurately complete production documentation
• Record downtime, production output, and quality data
• Complete routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Assist with cross-training and other operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurements and follow written instructions
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
