PM Batching Technician in Joplin (MO)

Position Overview (Temp-to-Hire after 520 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and blend products according to approved formulas and production specifications.
• Verify ingredients and quantities prior to batching activities.
• Operate and monitor batching, blending, and ingredient delivery systems.
• Transport ingredients and production materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Collect samples for quality testing and make adjustments as directed by quality personnel.
• Complete all production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Maintain sanitation standards and perform cleaning of tanks, lines, and equipment.
• Receive and unload bulk ingredient deliveries as needed.
• Monitor product quality and report any food safety, quality, or operational concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, blending, batching, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow formulas, production schedules, and operating procedures.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and forklift operation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and a manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment.
