Machine Operator in Forest City (NC)

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer in Forest City, NC.We are now hiring Machine Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Machine Operator Job Summary

• $18/hr + $1.50 Shift Differential
• Night Shift 7pm -7am
• 2-2-3 Schedule
• Set up and operation of bag machines to produce a quality product
• Trouble shoot & repair mechanical breakdown
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• Set up and gauge printers, as necessary
• Meets or exceeds daily production rates and scrap standards
• Maintain a clean work area
• Must have decision making ability and problem solving

Machine Operators Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2-5 years experience operating bag machines (i.e., New Long / Weber Handle Bag Machine or Potdevin / Davis / Weber grocery bag machine or compatible).
• Proactive, exercises sound judgement and decision making
• Must pass Drug Test and Background Screening
• Role requires standing, walking, handling and squatting and kneeling
