Progressive Coating, an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining shipping documentation, and supporting production operations.

✅ Prepare, pack, and ship orders including UPS, LTL, multi-pallet, and crated shipments

✅ Verify order accuracy, quantities, and packaging requirements

✅ Process shipments using an iPad-based ERP system

✅ Create and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, labels, and shipping records

✅ Coordinate carrier pickups, deliveries, freight quotes, and dock appointments

✅ Receive, inspect, and record inbound shipments

✅ Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, damages, and customer concerns

✅ Build, wrap, and secure pallets and crates

✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area

✅ Support ISO 9001 quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives

✔ Minimum 5 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience

✔ Manufacturing environment experience preferred

✔ Experience with inbound receiving and outbound shipping

✔ Knowledge of UPS, LTL, freight shipments, BOLs, packing lists, and shipping documentation

✔ Forklift, pallet jack, and electric pallet jack experience

✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

✔ Comfortable using tablets/iPad-based systems and basic computer applications

✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

✔ Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus

✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods

🎓 High School Diploma or GED required
