PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Heat Treat Operator for a growing manufacturing facility. We are seeking dependable candidates with manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and prior forklift experience.

Pay Rate: $19.25/hr
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
Must be flexible to work overtime, backshifts, and schedule changes as needed

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and maintain multiple furnace lines
• Operate heat treat equipment and production machinery
• Work safely in an extreme heat environment during 12-hour shifts
• Move barrels of metal products manually and with material-handling equipment
• Weigh totes and create/scan production labels
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain product quality
• Perform product testing, inspections, and process checks
• Maintain chemical inventories and monitor chemical flow systems
• Complete process documentation accurately and consistently
• Perform basic machine maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist maintenance technicians as needed
• Support daily 5S activities and maintain a clean work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• 1 year of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documents
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in extreme heat conditions
• Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds
• Must be flexible with schedule, overtime, and shift changes
