Hand Assembly / Inspector in Lexington (Kentucky)

Proman is seeking a detail-oriented Hand Assembly/Inspection Associate to join our First Shift production team in Lexington, KY.

Hand Assembly / Inspection Associate role is responsible for assembling automotive fasteners and components, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring products meet strict manufacturing and customer standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble metal fasteners and automotive components according to work instructions and production standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify defects and ensure quality requirements are met.
• Use measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers as needed.
• Sort, package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Remove defective materials and notify supervisors of quality concerns.
• Complete production documentation and record inspection results accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
• Meet daily production and quality goals while working efficiently as part of a team.

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or production experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools is preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with production equipment and moving machinery.
