Warehouse Associate – Stand-Up Forklift Experience
Pay: $18.50/hour Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM Location: Carteret, NJ Position Type: Temp to perm
Position Summary
Proman Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a growing industrial manufacturing and distribution operation. This role is primarily warehouse operations — picking, packing, and general material handling — with stand-up forklift operation accounting for approximately 20% of daily work.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate stand-up forklift to transport and stage inventory (approx. 20% of shift)
- Move, load, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of stand-up forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety standards and warehouse protocols
