About the mission
PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-established and respected facility in Owensboro, KY.
We are currently accepting resumes for a Bulk Material Associate.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
Shifts & Hours:
Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday (Over-time is mandatory)
Job Summary:
- Perform loading and unloading of customer goods while maintaining product integrity
- Perform routine inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and quality
- Process and maintain accurate paperwork for all shipments and inventory transactions
- Verify product counts and match shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, storage areas, and workstations
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by management
- Ensure proper placement and movement of inventory in accordance with company procedures
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to industrial conditions
- Will work in hot, cold, rainy, windy, or humid weather conditions.
- Performs physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, walking, climbing, and securing loads for extended periods.
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, and high-visibility vests.
- Requires close attention to safety procedures due to moving equipment.
- May involve overtime, shift work, weekends, and holidays to meet shipping schedules.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable forklift experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions for long periods of time.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, rainy, windy, or humid weather conditions.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
- Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time
- Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. consistently
