Job Summary
We are seeking for TIG Welders to join our manufacturing team. The TIG Welder is responsible for performing high‑quality welds on stainless steel and other metal components used in exhaust and emission control systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and related tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and job travelers
- Inspect finished welds for defects and perform rework as needed
- Maintain production and quality documentation as required
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Keep work area clean and organized (5S standards)
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety expectations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3+ years of TIG welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience welding stainless steel (thin‑gauge experience preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime or shift schedules as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive or exhaust system manufacturing
- Weld certification or successful completion of weld test
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing environments
- Experience with grinding, finishing, and visual inspection
