Tech Assistant in Wichita (KS) - Job offer

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and components.
• Perform component-level analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use electronic testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and volt meters.
• Perform soldering and de-soldering of surface mount and through-hole components.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
• Handle hard drives and electronic devices while following ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry for completed repairs and units.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and warehouse safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electronics Certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuitry, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience using electronic testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic devices down to the component level.
• Experience with soldering and de-soldering techniques.
• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable.
