Shipping/Receiving Inspector in Memphis (TN) - Job offer

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of (client industry/product line) in (Memphis, TN.

We are now hiring (Shipping/Receving Inspector) who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Must have 1-2 years experience along with resume.  You must interview for this position.

•    Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, and compliance with specifications Verify quantities against bills of lading, purchase orders, and packing lists
•    Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to check dimensions and features
•    Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and technical documents to confirm compliance
•    Review documentation such as Certificates of Conformance, test reports, and material certifications
•    Record inspection results in ERP/MRP systems and quality databases
•    Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCRs), and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues
•    Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) for new or revised parts
•    Maintain accurate inspection logs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
•    Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, production, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies
•    Assist in inventory management and stock organization

      $20.00 an hour
