About the Role
The Qualification Engineer I will perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental qualification testing of new products, materials, and devices. This is a hands-on laboratory role involving test setup, equipment operation, data collection, and technical reporting.
We welcome candidates who are either early-career engineers with testing experience or experienced hardware test technicians looking to grow into engineering-level responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute qualification and compliance testing to industry and customer standards.
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment including environmental chambers, vibration systems, battery cyclers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
- Develop test procedures, qualification plans, and formal test reports.
- Collect, analyze, and document test data and results.
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, customers, and third-party testing laboratories.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in product development, qualification testing, compliance testing, or a related laboratory environment.
- Experience using standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and analyze technical data.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
