About the mission
PROMAN Staffing is happy to source and hire a Production Scheduler for our national manufacturing client located in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This DIRECT HIRE position is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to support on-time delivery, maximize equipment utilization, and ensure efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Coordinate production capacity, materials, and labor resources.
- Sequence jobs to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Adjust schedules based on production demands, equipment availability, and material constraints.
- Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Shipping, and Production teams to meet customer commitments.
- Monitor schedule performance and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Maintain ERP data and support KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of manufacturing scheduling, production planning, supply chain, or operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong ERP/MRP and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
