PROMAN Staffing is Hiring: Production Associate (Wire Department)

PROMAN Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate to join the Wire Department. This position is responsible for setting up and operating wire processing equipment, assembling wire harnesses, performing inspections, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate wire processing machines
• Operate pneumatic wire crimping equipment
• Understand wire gauges and perform die set changes
• Assemble wire harnesses and wire components
• Strip, prepare, and tin wire using a solder pot
• Assemble mechanical parts according to work instructions and assembly drawings
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and workmanship standards
• Conduct wire pull testing on completed crimps
• Operate various hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, and testing equipment
• Assist with workstation setup and material movement
• Provide training and support to production associates as needed
• Cross-train in other production areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of machine operating experience preferred
• Knowledge of wire assembly and/or electronics assembly required
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workmanship standards
• Experience using hand tools, air tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and work at a workstation for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine manual dexterity
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Ability to visually inspect small components and assemblies
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
