Job Summary
PROMAN Staffing is seeking an experienced Fabrication & Special Parts Technician for a manufacturing facility in Festus, MO. This is a hands-on position working with custom fabrication processes, CNC equipment, laser cutting, plastics manufacturing, and quality inspections. Candidates must have previous fabrication experience and be comfortable working in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform production processes including:
- Custom blow molding
- Vacuum forming
- CNC machining
- Laser cutting
- Other fabrication processes as needed
- Operate ovens to heat and form raw materials
- Set up tools and machines for production runs
- Route, trim, drill, glue, and polish finished products
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring tools
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
- Package and label finished products for shipment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing fabrication experience REQUIRED
- CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience in plastics manufacturing, composites, or related production environments preferred
- Ability to accurately use tape measures, rulers, and calipers
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
