About the mission
Our valued client in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Operations Lead to join their growing team!
The Operations Lead position is a Temporary to Permanent role and the schedule and pay are as follows:
- 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday-Friday + MOT $23-$25 per hour (BOE)
Operations Lead Responsibilities:
- Safely operates forklift, including Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit-Down Forklift.
- Monitors warehouse and associate performance, quality, workflow, and resources.
- Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, damages, and non-conformances.
- Assists employees with operational issues and works with team leads to improve warehouse performance.
- Performs general functions including labeling, packaging, paperwork, and preparing customer orders.
- Supports shipping, receiving, dock, auditing, packing, inspections, and other warehouse functions.
- Performs other duties and labor-sharing assignments as directed by leadership.
Operations Lead Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant warehouse leadership experience.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience on the Reach, Cherry, and Sit-Down forklift.
- Flexibility with overtime as needed.
