MIG/MAG Welder in Batavia (60) - Job offer

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with leading provider of commercial, industrial, utility, solar, and infrastructure fencing solutions across the United States.
We are hiring MIG Welders / Production Associates in West Chicago, IL.

Shifts Available:
· 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
· 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22-30/hr | Based on Experience

MIG Welder / Production Associate Summary
· Perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly of fence components and related products.
· Support production operations in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
· Operate production equipment and assist with fabrication processes.
· Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
· Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
· Participate in cross-training opportunities throughout the facility.

MIG Welder / Production Associate Responsibilities
· Perform MIG welding on galvanized pipe and steel fencing components.
· Read and interpret work orders, measurements, blueprints, and specifications.
· Assemble fence panels, gates, posts, and related products.
· Operate production equipment and manufacturing machinery.
· Assist with brake press operations and other fabrication equipment as needed.
· Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
· Grind, clean, and prepare welded surfaces for finishing.
· Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Requirements
· Previous manufacturing experience required
· MIG welding experience preferred
· Experience welding galvanized pipe is a plus
· Brake press experience is beneficial
· Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
· Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
· Strong attendance and reliability required
