Material Handler

Location: Bonne Terre, MO
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM- subject to mandatory Over Time.

PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a hands-on fabrication facility in Bonne Terre, MO. This role is ideal for dependable individuals with fabrication and material handling experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to read a tape measure is REQUIRED
  • Ability to read calipers is PREFERRED
  • Material handling experience is REQUIRED
  • Forklift experience is REQUIRED
  • Steel-toed boots are REQUIRED
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment is REQUIRED
  • Reliable transportation and attendance are REQUIRED
  • Class E Driver's License is PREFERRED
Job Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Read and use tape measures accurately
  • Support fabrication and production operations
  • Assist with cutting, assembling, and handling materials
  • Maintain inventory and organize material storage areas
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all company safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous material handling experience REQUIRED
  • Forklift experience REQUIRED
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure is REQUIRED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in heat, cold, dust, and changing temperatures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
