Material Handler in Batavia (60) - Job offer

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a Fence Contractor in Batavia, IL.
We are hiring a Material Handler in Batavia, IL.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Material Handler Summary:
• Support warehouse and yard operations by handling, organizing, and staging materials.
• Operate forklifts and assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment and pickup.
• Maintain inventory organization and ensure materials are readily accessible.
• Work both indoors and outdoors while following company safety standards.

Material Handler Responsibilities:
• Operate a Crown sit-down forklift (onsite training available).
• Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Pick and pack materials for customer orders.
• Prepare products for shipment and customer pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse and yard operations as needed.

Requirements:
• Previous forklift experience preferred (Crown sit-down forklift experience is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
