PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company located in Arnold, MO to hire a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic specifically for 2nd & 3rd shifts.
This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, hands‑on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to maintain and repair production equipment in a fast‑paced industrial environment. 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:45PM - 12AM
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 11:45PM - 8AM
Mandatory Overtime is possible.
Pay Range: $17.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Experience Required: 2 - 3 years in manufacturing maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures; ensure equipment is safe before operating
- Perform repairs and replacements on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues; replace or repair parts and make necessary adjustments
- Install or rewire complex electrical circuits, panels, relays, and controls
- Perform general maintenance welding on machines, buildings, and tools using gas or electric equipment
- Complete building maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, welding, and basic carpentry
- Follow lubrication schedules for machines, motors, pumps, and related equipment
- Install or relocate machinery and equipment under direction
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on production machinery
- Recommend or implement modifications to improve safety, efficiency, or equipment performance
- Complete routine paperwork and maintenance logs as required
- Clean debris, lubricants, and work areas after completing repairs
- Maintain knowledge of the location and proper use of all company‑owned tools
- Operate production equipment to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality
- Assist and train others using skills gained through experience
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and schematics; make modifications when needed
- Comply with the LMC Export Compliance Manual
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of maintenance experience required
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Welding experience (gas or electric) preferred
- Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed
