PROMAN Staffing is proud to be the exclusive partner with our regional event client to source and provide DIRECT HIRE Driver AND Event set-up / Installers for their West Chicago business. At minimum a valid Class C NON Commercial drivers license is required.
We are hiring Event set-up / Installers to support tent and event equipment installations. These are hands‐on, team based, physical roles working outdoors, traveling to job sites, and supporting event setups throughout the Midwest. Candidates with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and driving experience are encouraged to apply.

Direct Hire Driver AND Event Installation Crew Member Responsibilities:
- Report to the warehouse daily and support loading/unloading of event equipment
- Install, set up, break down, and remove tents and event structures
- Use hand tools and follow direction from the Project Manager
- Drive company trucks Valid NON-Commercial Class C Drivers License (CDL class A. B also welcome) and trucks with trailers when assigned
- Maintain safety, teamwork, and professionalism on job sites
- Support projects that may require travel and overnight stays
Direct Hire Driver AND Event Installation Crew Schedule & Travel
- Starting at $22.00 per hour based on experience and Class of License
- Early start times (5:00 AM) and shifts up to 12 hours
- Flexibility required: early mornings, late nights, weekends, and varied schedules
- Crews run 7 days per week during busy season
- Some event locations may require overnight travel (2–4 nights) within an 8‐hour Midwest radius of Chicago
- Travel is not constant but required during peak periods
Direct Hire Driver AND Event Installation Crew Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull 50–75 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor outdoors
- Comfortable working in all weather and on uneven surfaces
- Ability to work long, physically demanding shifts
