We are now accepting resumes for a 2nd Shift Housekeeping / Floor Technician
Hours:
1:00 PM to 9:30 PM | Monday thru Friday
Floor Technician Job Summary
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and professional flooring throughout the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, vinyl, concrete, and carpet.
- Operate floor-care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
- Strip old floor finishes and apply wax, sealants, and polish as needed.
- Perform spot cleaning, stain removal, and deep-cleaning procedures.
- Inspect floors for damage, safety hazards, spills, and additional cleaning needs.
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned.
Housekeeper Job Summary
Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Dust, sweep, mop, and clean assigned areas.
- Clean floors and surfaces using established cleaning methods and procedures.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and public restrooms.
- Clean and disinfect assigned rooms and common areas.
- Make beds using clean and disinfected linens.
- Replenish towels, blankets, soaps, and other necessary supplies.
- Clean mirrors, windows, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Collect dirty laundry and linens and deliver them to designated areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Respond professionally to housekeeping requests and concerns.
- Follow all sanitation, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
- Complete additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must be very reliable and dependable, as there is a strict attendance policy.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Good communication and the ability to follow instructions.
