About the mission

We are hiring for Warehouse Administrator at our valued client located in Romeoville, IL.

This position is either 1st Shift 8AM-4:30PM or Mid-Shift 10AM-6:30PM with expectations of flexibility for overtime.

The pay is $21.00-$24.00/hour (BOE) and the ideal candidate must have previous Freight experience, pass Microsoft Office assessments, and complete an in-person interview.

Warehouse Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Manage carrier changes.
  • Scheduling, quoting, and routing of Truckload and Expedited shipments.
  • Ensure all consignments are shipped in the most cost-effective way and are in adherence with shipping guidelines.
  • Process unrouteable orders: Criticality 1 shipments for US, Canada, Mexico, and international shipments.
  • Prepare shipping documents: Bills of Lading, SLI’s, Commercial Invoices, etc.
  • Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve shipping documentation issues or missed shipments.
  • Follow-up on daily inquiries for carrier change requests, expedited/must ship requests, exceptions and shipment tracking.
  • Maintain integrity of freight management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • May perform other duties and participate in other projects as required within the department.
Warehouse Administrator Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a transportation environment including domestic and international shipments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
