Backup Operator in Conover (NC) - Job offer

Shift Availability: Days and Nights 12 Hour

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a local nonwoven manufacturing company and is seeking reliable Operators to join their production team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment.
• Load and monitor materials to maintain proper production flow.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality standards.
• Record production data accurately.
• Make minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Assist with equipment repairs and changeovers.
• Operate winding and wrapping equipment.
• Support team members and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Textile or nonwoven manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must have at least ONE year of Machine Operation Experience
• Basic computer, math, and measurement skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, crawl, and work around machinery safely.
