We are now hiring Automotive Production Associates who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
- Must be able to transition to 2nd Shift - If you are assigned to a 1st shift position during your initial 90 days, you will transition to 2nd Shift as determined prior to transitioning to full-time, all new full-time team members begin employment on 2nd shift.
Shift Schedule:
- 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (potential over-time)
- 1st Shift - 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (potential over-time)
- 2nd Shift - 5:30 PM - 2:00 AM (potential over-time)
- 2nd Shift - 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM (potential over-time)
- Over-time (Mandatory) is likely to occur. Ensure you can work a minimum of 10 hours per scheduled work shift.
- Weekend Schedules (Mandatory) can occur and will be communicated based on company needs.
Job Summary:
- Perform set-ups and changeovers.
- Carry out production responsibilities including, but not limited to operating lift trucks, floor scrubbers, cleaning equipment.
- Perform production welding, riveting, resistance welding, and any other assembly operation, once certified by internal instructors.
- Performing visual inspections and using measuring tools to ensure parts and finished products meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving extended periods of standing, lifting, bending stooping, handling materials, repetitive motions.
- Able to lift 40lbs. regularly throughout the work shift.
- Work with all team members in other departments to resolve problems or make improvements.
- Willingness to cross-train and work other areas/stations in the plant on short notice and as needed.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
- May wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for long periods.
- Steel Toe Boots are required.
