PROMAN Staffing is actively seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Quality Technician to support a manufacturing Quality Department on 2nd shift in Arnold, MO. Shift: 2nd Shift- Monday-Friday 3:30AM – 12:00AM
Subject to mandatory overtime based of production
Pay: Based on experience

Position Summary:
The Backup Quality Technician will provide support to the Quality Department on 2nd shift. This individual will serve as a backup for quality-related functions as needed and, when not performing backup quality duties, will assist with tensile testing and the hold area. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a commitment to quality standards.
The selected candidate will complete several weeks of training on 1st shift with the Quality team and will receive ongoing direction to ensure successful performance on 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide backup support for Quality Department functions on 2nd shift as needed
- Perform tensile testing in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor and manage the hold area, ensuring proper identification, documentation, and segregation of materials
- Follow all quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria
- Accurately complete required quality documentation and records
- Communicate quality concerns or issues to leadership in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with production and quality team members
Training & Schedule:
- Initial training will take place on 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:45A-3:30P
- Ongoing guidance will be provided by the Quality team
- Regular work schedule will be 2nd shift: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Qualifications:
- Previous quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with tensile testing or quality testing methods is a plus
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently within defined guidelines
