PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well‑established manufacturing company to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor – 2nd Shift in Grand Prairie, TX.
We are hiring an EXPERIENCED Manufacturing Supervisor for our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Second shift, salary range $65,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience.
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ROLE!
Manufacturing Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met
- Champion a zero‑incident safety culture through audits, observations, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards
- Execute daily production plans to meet schedule attainment, fill rate, and KPI targets
- Monitor labor efficiency, downtime, throughput, and production flow
- Coordinate staffing and resources to support balanced and efficient operations
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen and continuous improvement events
- Drive implementation of Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Flow, and Pull Systems
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, control plans, and work instructions
- Lead root cause analysis using DMAIC, 5‑Why, and Fishbone methodologies
- Reduce defects, rework, and scrap through proactive process control
- Supervise, coach, and develop team leads and production associates
- Conduct daily Gemba walks and Tier meetings
- Track and report KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM)
- Maintain visual management boards and action tracking tools
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications:
- 3 to 5+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Experience leading Kaizen or Quality Circle events
- Knowledge of quality systems such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production data
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Onsite position in Grand Prairie, TX
- Monday through Thursday 4/10 schedule
- Second shift hours typically 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM, or as needed to support shift operations
- Manufacturing environment with machinery, dust, and non‑climate‑controlled conditions
