General Helper – 1st Shift

Full-Time
1st shift: Monday–Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM
Pay: $18.00/hr

PROMAN Staffing is hiring for a General Helper position. This full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures at the machine center
• Prepare bottom and top sheets for units and print load tags
• Perform unitization according to customer specifications
• Participate in quality checks as required
• Work at the pace set by the machine operator to meet production goals
• Read and follow shop order instructions
• Troubleshoot issues during production runs
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the work area
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred
• Proven ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed
• Comfortable working independently or in a team-oriented environment

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
• Occasional exposure to airborne particles and vibration

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
• Frequent use of hands, arms, and ability to stoop, kneel, or crawl
• Must have good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception)
