1st Shift Pharmaceutical Coating Operator
Role Overview: Responsible for the application of film or functional coatings to tablets, ensuring uniform quality and appearance while maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process Management: Operate coating equipment for commercial and validation batches, ensuring the correct application of coating suspensions.
· Cleaning & Setup: Clean coating pans, spray guns, and surrounding process areas as per SOPs to prevent cross-contamination.
· Data Integrity: Write and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records and logbooks; monitor environmental conditions within the coating suite.
· Calibration: Verify weighing balances daily and document findings in calibration logs.
· Change Parts: Manage the inventory and retrieval of change parts, ensuring all components are inspected for integrity before use.
· General Support: Participate in equipment qualification and adhere to all facility gowning and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
· Education: Preferably a Science background.
· Experience: 3–5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is essential.
